The Dove Release will be choreographed to music or the reading of a poem or other passage of your choice. You can have your officiate,a close friend or family member read your selection. Your choice will add a personal touch to the release.
The birds will arrive on time (usually one hour before the scheduled event) with a release coordinator. The Coordinator will be professional, polite and appropriately dressed for your event.
Cage displays with birds are set up just prior to guest's arrival. Birds selected for the release will remain in their release baskets until the predetermined release time.
When the doves are released they usually circle over head several times allowing you and your guests to fully admire their beauty before turning towards home. Once home, our doves are given food, water and a much deserved rest.
Many people ask if the birds will make a mess when released. While we can not guarantee the birds will not have an accident it is unlikely. Birds fly with their feet stretched out behind them, they will not soil themselves. Once released the birds generally do not land or stop until they reach home. We also feed a special diet the night before a release to further decrease the likelihood of an accident.
Earth's Angels will not release our beloved doves unless we are confident they will arrive home safely. Therefore we will not release birds indoors, at night, or in inclement weather. While these birds are capable of flying much farther than 100 miles we feel this is the the safest distance for our birds to fly without causing unnecessary stress on the them While the safety and welfare of our birds is our top priority your satisfaction is our goal.
